Hello and welcome to my website....

From helping my Mum and Dad to extended family and friends, I realised that sometimes we all run out of time or just need that extra pair of hands. It might be a quick and simple task or maybe a time consuming challenge…..

That’s where I can help.

From running an errand, collecting a prescription through to helping organise a dinner party and taking care of all the clearing up afterwards,

Sally – Your Girl Friday can make all the difference.

A little bit about me....

Born and raised in Northumberland, I have lived in the Tyne Valley for most of my life, and I am still lucky to have my Dad and family close by. With my customer service, management and catering background, combined with my “I can do that” attitude, I turn my hands and mind to many tasks. Helping my parents and extended family over many years, has given me a better understanding of how ordinary tasks can sometimes be a struggle, and by just doing “little things” can make all the difference.

I have held a full, clean driving licence for 30 years, and my friends describe me as supportive, enthusiastic, a good communicator and a good listener, organised, and reliable. Any spare time is filled with walking my Jack Russell, listening to music, cooking, visiting National Trust properties and gardens, spending time with family and friends, and pottering in antiques and bric a brac shops.

Here’s how some of my friends have described me:

A little bit about Gracie....

My smooth haired, lovable, cheeky Jack Russell. She has been my constant companion since I got her as an 11 week old puppy in April 2009. She has travelled all over the UK when I have been working, we stayed at Doggy Friendly hotels or B & B’s, and she has been ejected from Mount Grace Priory in North Yorkshire!

As I had named her after the priory, I thought it would be nice to take a photograph of her outside the front door……apparently dogs are not allowed – so we left, but I did manage to get my picture!

In 2014, Gracie and I were rear passengers in a car that was involved in a crash, which left Gracie initially paralysed and with spine damage. With lots of TLC from me, patience from her Vet, and hydrotherapy and physiotherapy sessions, Gracie has made a great recovery, and although she is wobbly and lopsided on occasions she has adapted really well and knows her limitations.

If you would like Gracie to accompany my visit to you, she is small, gentle and house trained and would love to meet you, especially if you have a cosy lap for her to snooze on and a little piece of biscuit.
