Housekeeping

General housework, ironing and cleaning – Or are you having visitors to stay, or entertaining with a dinner party? Let me spruce up your home in readiness and leave you the time to relax and welcome your guests.

Home Sitting

Going away on holiday or business? I can house sit for you, or I can visit at times to coincide with your usual routine, to close curtains and turn lights on and off, and remove post from view. There is nothing like coming home to a cold house with no milk in the fridge, so I will prepare your home and your fridge for your return.

Pet Care

I can walk your dog, or cat, feed your companion, accompany them to veterinary visits, keep track of vaccinations and preventative health care. As Gracie will vouch for me, I understand completely how important your companions are to you.

Let’s talk about Food

Not enough time for healthy meals, always eating the same thing on a Monday night? I can plan your main meals for you for the week ahead, do the weekly food shopping for you, and if needed, it can all be put away.

Create order out of chaos

From wardrobes and kitchen cupboards to garages and sheds, organised and free from clutter is so much easier to manage. Let me loose on your chaos and let me restore calm.

Clearance corner

Once we have restored calm to your clutter, clothes, bric a brac, anything that can go to the charity shop, or to the recycling centre, I will take it for you. One off clutter clearances or a room a week…….

Driving and Accompanying

Have a doctor’s appointment, opticians, or at the hospital. Let me drive you there, in your car if you have one, or in mine. If support is required at the appointment, I can attend with you or simply wait outside.

Personal Administration

I can help set up bill payments, and run a simple record keeping system. Keep track in your diary for birthdays, anniversaries and other important dates, buy the cards. Just think someone to organise all your Christmas cards – all you have to do is sign them!

Tradesmen Quotes

Have a bigger job to be done? I can source quotes for the work to be done, wait in for tradesmen to do the work and even do your ironing whilst I'm there!

Reservations

Not on the internet, or unsure of telephoning. I can book a variety of things from train tickets to theatre seats, or a table at your favourite restaurant, and even arrange transport there and back.

Say it with flowers

Need to remember someone special, or say thank you to a friend. I can arrange floral arrangements to be sent to that special person, also for a birthday, anniversary, or just to show that you are thinking of them.

Entertaining

You have planned, shopped, prepared and cooked in readiness for your dinner party. Would an extra pair of hands help? To enable you to welcome your friends, and relax with a glass of something chilled, I will serve the meal, clear between courses, then wash up and restore your kitchen back to calm. Or if you want the extra hands for generally organising a large party, I am happy to assist in any way.

Companionship

If all of these options leave you gasping, and you simply would like a little bit of company and chat over a cup of tea, I do that too……I might even bring some biscuits. There are lots of places locally to visit if you would like to go out and about – as long as we find some where for our cup of tea and chat.
